Our centre is set up by Kowloon City Baptist Church in 1996. We serve the society wih the love of Christ and we gained large support from the people in the district. Our members exceed 1000 sice 2004. After transforming to neighbourhood elderly centre in 2006，our service area is developed to Upper Wong Tai Sin Estate. Until the year 2008 and 2009, our number of members reach 1800 nearly, with more and more members joining this big family. We develop different sorts of service like Lok Fu Lunch and Lung Cheung Cafe in order to provide them nutrient food and snacks. In addition, we provide elderly caring service, hidden elderly caring service, community volunteers training, educational and social contact groups. Moreover, there are special service given to people in the district, including counseling and referral of social worker in profession, short-term caring and escort, Elderly carer supporting service and temporal lending rehabilitation equpiments. For these years, we organise and paticipate many joint-district activities, which are valued by different organisations. In the coming future, we will try our very best to make our service professional, provide our senior beautiful and fruitful old age and glorify our Lord. |
