Key Programme

       In order to let the new neighbours in Low Fu Estate get used to the environment and get the latest news about different service, we organise a project with Lok Fu Estate Office called the Key Programme, which provides district guidance service for the new neighbours who are 60 or older.
       Special trained officers will provide them a three-day guidance tour free to introduce different social facilities and service in Lok Fu Estate.

Duration：

From 1st January, 2009 to 31st December, 2010.

Content of the tour：

  • Introducing market, bank, post office, library, public restroom, clinic, hospital and pharmacy
  • Service like Neighbourhood Elderly Centre and family centre
  • Assisting them to make application for safe alarm, introducing special offering for the senior like household     repairing
  • Solving problems like installation of indoor devices and changing address
  • Assisting them to tackle psychological problems on accommodation of the new environment.
