Background

        Few years ago, students in social work department of several institutions and voluntary organisations have a visit and placement simultaneously. We are appreciated for the team spirit, faith in Jesus and social work. Thus more and more students want to have placement in our centre.

　　  At that time, our staff saw the students finding jobs helplessly and lose their ways. Frustration and difficulties filled their minds which made them confused, or they even quitted. Therefore the senior social workers set up the Match Programme on 12th March, 2004, which helps to enlighten the freshly graduated social workers and shine them up with love.

Purpose

• To let our members keep their faith of social work by different sorts of activities.
• To let them learn social working skills and knowledge by means of training.
• To let social workers cheer up each other through participating different activities.

Programmes

• Training: Case counselling skills, proposal writing, interviewing skills and group leading skills
• Entertaining: tour, visit, barbeque
